Adelaide based Storytellers, Ruth & Graham interacted with some of Eudunda's elderly citizens at the Eudunda Hostel, telling some stories, and we heard some stories about olden times in the district and beyond.
Everyone had a great night at the Eudunda Oval complex around a nice warm capfire, telling yarns, and we were lucky to have local band "The Rustics" singing some great stories as well.
Another excellent day of storytelling, in the place of the Greatest South Australian Storyteller, dr Colin Thiele. The day was busy with some local residents telling of days of their youth, the children were involved with a "Telling trail in the Kid's Scrub" and lots of fun stories from the very talented Adelaide based Storytellers Guild of Australia (SA) Inc. Mixed in with all this were music and singing by local band the "Nearly Flat" Musos, with some well recognised and also some local songs.
A wet start caused a move to a sheltered location, but all went well and a surprisingly good attendance considering the weather.
Great food and Yarns!!!

As light showers passed through; the evening saw both young and old tell stories, some true, such as our Dutch visitors who told of 4 wheel drive crossing Northern Territory rivers; which had everyone laughing at thier misfortune. (some of the photos are affected by smoke and water).
